On June 10, 2020, Canopy launched the 27 Campaign. The campaign was a way for Kentucky businesses to acknowledge that systemic racism is a problem that for-profit businesses need to address by examining and updating internal policies and procedures and by supporting Black-owned businesses. Canopy helped to facilitate fundraising and 27 days of learning dedicated to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion learning moments for Kentucky businesses.
In the end 25 companies committed to participating and $48K was raised all to support racial justice in our business community.
